Measurement
Step 1: Circumference
- Place the measuring tape at your hairline, just above your eyebrows, and wrap it around your head, passing over your ears and around the back of your head where your neck meets your hairline. Make sure the tape measure is snug but not tight.
Step 2: Front to Back
- Measure from your front hairline (center of your forehead) to the back of your head at the base of your skull. This will give you the length of your head.
Step 3: Ear to Ear (Hairline)
- Place the tape above one ear, measuring across the top of your head to the same point above the other ear.
Step 4: Ear to Ear (Over the Top)
- Starting from the top of one ear, measure over the top of your head, passing across the crown, and ending at the top of the opposite ear.
Step 5: Temple to Temple
- Measure from one temple to the other, going around the back of your head at the widest point (above the nape).
Step 6: Nape
- Measure the width of the nape of your neck, from one end of the hairline at the back of your neck to the other.
